What is Ridim?

Ridim is one account and one wallet behind three products: Rewards (cash, airtime and data campaigns plus live games), Events (ticketing and QR check-in) and Business (payroll, gift vouchers and bulk payouts). You fund the wallet once and pay from anywhere in the platform.

Who is Ridim for?

Anyone who needs to move money to a lot of people at once — creators and radio shows running giveaways, churches and communities, event organisers selling tickets, and businesses paying staff, agents or vendors. If you're on the receiving end of any of that, you don't need an account at all.

Does it cost anything to open an account?

No. Signing up is free and there is no subscription. You only pay when money actually moves, and the fee is shown to you before you confirm — before you fund, before you launch a campaign, and before you withdraw.

Do I have to choose a product when I sign up?

No. Every account gets Rewards and Events from the start, and you switch between workspaces from inside your dashboard. Business unlocks once your company passes KYB verification.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Ridim runs in the browser — for you and for everyone you pay. Claimants, players and event guests never download anything.

What is a campaign?

A campaign is a reward you create on Ridim. You pick the reward type (cash, airtime or data), set the amount per person and how many people can claim, fund it, and share a link, a code or a game PIN. Everyone who qualifies claims instantly.

What rewards can I give out?

Three: cash straight to any Nigerian bank account, airtime on MTN, Glo, Airtel or 9mobile, and data bundles on every major network. You pick the type when you create the campaign.

How do people claim?

For a normal campaign, they open your link, enter your campaign keyword on the homepage, or scan your QR code — then enter where the reward should go. For a live game, they join with the game PIN and win by playing. Either way there's no signup.

How do I stop strangers from draining my budget?

Lock the campaign. You can protect it with PINs or one-time codes so only the people you hand a code to can claim, restrict it to registered users, or put a game in front of it. Each code claims exactly once, and quiet fraud checks catch the obvious abuse.

Four. Trivia is a quiz with real-time scoring, speed bonuses and a leaderboard. Decoder hides the reward behind a code players race to crack. Emoji Decode shows a string of emojis players race to translate. Draw & Guess has one player sketching on their phone while everyone guesses in a live chat. Winners are paid automatically from your prize pool.

What happens if a player's phone sleeps mid-game?

They rejoin with their score intact. Games are built for real phones on real Nigerian networks — a dropped connection or a backgrounded browser doesn't cost anyone their place.

Is there a minimum amount per reward?

Yes — roughly ₦100 for airtime, 500MB for data, and ₦500 for cash per person. There's no monthly fee on top; you pay for the rewards you set up.

Yes. Bulk disburse takes a list — phone numbers or bank accounts — and pays everyone on it in one go, with receipts. It's the right tool for staff incentives, agent commissions and field teams.

How do I create an event?

Describe it in a sentence and Ridim drafts the whole page — title, description, ticket tiers and all — or build it yourself in five short steps. Either way you end up with one link that sells.

Can I sell free tickets?

Yes. An event can be a free RSVP with a capacity, a set of paid tiers, or both. Free events can also require your approval before a guest gets their ticket.

How does check-in work?

Every ticket carries a QR code. At the door you scan it from your phone and it turns green exactly once — a second scan reads as already checked in. It keeps working when the venue's network doesn't, because the guest list is cached on the device.

When do I get the money from ticket sales?

As sales complete. Ticket revenue lands in your Ridim wallet rather than sitting on a settlement schedule, and you withdraw to your bank whenever you like.

Do my guests need a Ridim account?

They end up with one, but it isn't a detour — the account is created inside the same form they use to buy, in one step. People claiming rewards, by contrast, need no account at all.

Can other people sell my tickets for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Promoters get their own link and earn a commission on what they sell. The commission comes off before your payout and only accrues on orders that fully paid, so your numbers never go backwards.

What if a guest can't afford the ticket up front?

Two options exist for exactly that: Pay-for-Me lets a guest ask someone else to cover their ticket, and split payment lets a group share the cost. Both turn a maybe into a sold ticket.

Can I refund a ticket?

Yes. You publish your refund policy on the event page so guests know where they stand before they buy, and refunds return to the buyer from your balance. Refund windows that run “until the event starts” close when it actually starts, not at midnight the night before.

KYB verification. You submit your business documents once; verification unlocks the Business workspace, raises your limits and puts a verified badge on your account that the people you pay can see.

Pick your recipients, set the amount and the approved stores. Each person gets their own voucher code by email. At the counter, a one-time code goes to their phone to approve that exact payment, and the money settles straight to the store's verified bank account. Balances can be spent bit by bit.

Voucher money is escrowed the moment you issue, so every redemption is guaranteed payable, and each payment is approved with a fresh one-time code. Unspent balances return to your wallet.

By bank transfer from any Nigerian bank. Enter the amount, transfer to the account details shown, and your balance updates automatically once the money arrives. The minimum top-up is ₦500.

Bank-transfer funding carries the payment processor's fee — 1.63% including VAT, capped at ₦2,150 — and the exact naira amount is shown in the funding screen before you confirm. You choose whether it comes out of what lands or is added on top.

It comes back to you. A campaign budget is reserved when you launch so every claim is guaranteed payable, and whatever is left when it closes returns to your wallet — ready for the next campaign or withdrawable to your bank.

Can someone be paid twice by mistake?

No. Payouts are checked for duplicates before the money moves, across campaigns, payroll and voucher redemptions alike. Nobody gets missed and nobody gets paid twice.

How do I get money out?

Withdraw to your own bank account from the dashboard. The fee is shown on screen before you confirm, and every movement in and out is logged with a receipt you can download.

Will Ridim ever ask for my PIN or password?

Never. Not your bank PIN, not your card details, not your password, not an OTP — and nobody from Ridim will ask you to send money before releasing a reward. If a message claims otherwise, it isn't us. Report it and we'll act on it.

I claimed a reward and it never arrived. What now?

Start a chat from any page — you don't need an account. Have the campaign link or your phone number ready and we can trace it. Most misses are a wrong phone number or a bank account typo, and both are fixable.

Is my data safe?

Personal details are stored server-side and never exposed to other players — live game data carries nicknames and scores, not phone numbers or bank details. The Privacy Policy covers exactly what's collected, why, and how long it's kept.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Email hello@ridim.com.ng from the address on the account and we'll close it and delete what we're not legally required to keep. Transaction records are retained for the period Nigerian financial regulations require.
